A religious liberty newsletter that is a must-read for people of faith. "Teach them from Day 1 that God and His Son and His Holy Spirit are your best friend, the best friend you will ever make," she said. "God used that to say to me, basically, 'Kathie, this is the way I want you to spend the rest of your life.' There are many more stories in the Bible to tell; you will never run out of them," she said. The actress also praised her children's choice of partners, describing them as "two people that I just adore". The former Live with Regis and Kathie Lee star lives just outside Franklin in Tennessee, after moving there in 2018.
Kathie Lee Gifford’s Nashville home is often filled with musicians. And if there’s one place to go to focus on music, it’s Nashville. "'Oh, we can't leave them out,' and, 'Oh, their feelings are gonna be hurt.' This just got it down to the nitty gritty -- who is closest family. It ended up being precious." Kathie Lee's daughter Cassidy got married in June to her partner Ben Wierda, while her son Cody tied the knot to his partner Erika at the beginning of September. Behind the mother-of-two, a lavish staircase could be seen, while the monochrome living area was decorated with fresh flowers. Most recently, the TV presenter took to Instagram to share some exciting news about a one-off cinema event taking part on 30 September, where fans can watch the movie.

The two-story home is fitted with a handful of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a stunning kitchen and finished basement. It’s been two years since Thomas lost her husband, Michael Marion, and she still struggles with the idea of starting another romance. But according to Kathie Lee Gifford, whose husband of 25 years, Frank Gifford, died in 2015, there’s a secret to being open to romance once again. After losing a partner, a mourner can feel as though they’ll never love again after grief. “He is the sweetest thing, sleeps around the clock, only whimpers slightly when he gets diaper changes and is feeding like a little champ,” the performer updated her followers after one week of motherhood.
Cody also loved the game and played for the University of Southern California. "I don’t want to mess it up and I probably already have by just even mentioning it," Gifford quipped at the time as she was readying herself to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "You know, to just be in a place where you feel like every aspect of your life is good. You know, that nothing’s missing. And that’s a beautiful place to be. I’m just so grateful." Meanwhile, Gifford’s daughter Cassidy, 28, and her husband, Ben Wierda, have put down roots close to where the author and actress lives in Nashville. While she has moved to greener pastures, Kathie did not let go of her Connecticut family home.

She said she never got over losing her husband, and she was grateful her son had honored him. While Cassidy and her husband are happy, Kathie is also "thrilled" by the news. She shared the same photo as her daughter on Instagram and said the baby is a blessing to the entire Gifford family.
In November 2019, she appeared on the “Today” show and shared that she has been living more happily after her relocation. “Happy Birthday to the woman who shines brightly, is precious with baby Frank and makes us all laugh so hard we sometimes pooje and to the warmest giant of a man in heaven. We all miss you,” Erika captioned a photo of her mother-in-law and the baby. Now, with Cody living in the Connecticut house and Cassidy and her husband, Ben Wierda, living nearby in Nashville, Gifford is overjoyed to have "my children back in my life in both homes." Telling PEOPLE that she loves going back to the New York area for visits after moving to Tennessee in 2019, she added, "but my son and his wife live there now. And that just makes me so happy."

It is something Kathie has often talked about grappling with, even now. On June 1 this year, Kathie took to Instagram to announce that her first grandchild had been born. She shared a photo of the happy family together in the hospital and mentioned that the baby's name was Frank Michael Gifford. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that one of America’s true gems has recently made Nashville her second home. While she has no plans to permanently sell her Greenwich home in Connecticut , she is spending half of her time here in Music City, which is quite fitting for this new chapter in her life.

The comments section was filled with congratulatory messages for the happy couple. Over his 12-year Hall of Fame career in New York, Gifford earned eight Pro Bowl selections and a Most Valuable Player award in 1956. He also began a successful second career as a football broadcaster, most notably on Monday Night Football. Cody told Hearst Connecticut Media this week that being able to stay in Greenwich has been one of the highlights during an otherwise difficult time period throughout the pandemic. Looking ahead, Gifford looks to do more projects that further the Gospel and instill truth in the next generation.
As you walk into the entranceway, you are greeted with beautiful foliage, water features, and marvelous decoration. There’s a gym, kitchen, 2 formal dining areas, family room, great room and an elevator which has access to all three floors of the home. Before moving to Nashville, this is where Kathie spent most of her time. She has claimed that the backyard is her favorite spot in her huge mansion. It is situated in Riverside, which is known to be the ‘fanicer’ part of Greenwich.
“It’s just a different attitude.” Kathie Lee also revealed that she recently started dating again. Clearly, Nashville is the perfect place for this next chapter in Kathie Lee’s life, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Gifford, who co-hosts the fourth hour of Today with Hoda Kotb, announced in December that she would be retiring on April 7th—the 11-year anniversary of her hosting the popular morning show.
Since she made her move from Greenwich, Connecticut, to Music City in 2018, Kathie Lee has been living in a gorgeous and comfortable home just outside in Franklin, Tennessee. The former TODAY co-host sat down for a candid conversation with three other women who know the pain and loneliness that accompany loss, including TODAY Style contributor Bobbie Thomas. “I finally got to meet sweet little Frankie this weekend and the joy that filled my heart was indescribable! Frankie looked just like his dad in a family photo taken in his nursery at home.
The backyard features a large grass area with several seating areas which offer views of Long Island and you can even just about see the Manhattan skyline in the distance. She especially loves enjoying the great outdoors with her dogs. The actress’ patio features a glass table and gorgeous landscaping. When she’s not running around for her career, you can catch Kathie Lee relaxing at home in a pair of jeans with a glass of wine. Although Kathie Lee still owns her first Nashville home, she now lives in the new 7,965-square-foot brownstone that she paid $3.7 million for.
"It was the missing of my children in my beautiful, beautiful home that had once been so filled with laughter, and music, and dogs barking, and smells of the grill going, and the seagulls," she said. The former TODAY talent’s daughter, Cassidy, revealed that she and her husband, Ben Wierda, are expecting their first child together. On Dec. 16, Cassidy, 29, shared a photo on Instagram of two big Christmas stockings hanging on a fireplace, with a tiny stocking in the middle. "It was the missing of my children in my beautiful, beautiful home that had once been so filled with laughter, and music, and dogs barking, and smells of the grill going, and the seagulls," she noted to PEOPLE. It seems there’s virtually no end to the creative projects Kathie Lee has taken up over the past few years. In addition to writing songs, she also wrote a children’s book entitled The Gift I Can Give and a book for adults about her religious journey.

The creative culture she's found in Tennessee has obviously inspired her. Since her move south, Gifford has written two books, a children's book titled The Gift I Can Give, and a book for adults about her religious journey. Additionally, she wrote, produced and co-starred with comedian Craig Ferguson in an upcoming romantic comedy called Then Came You, and she's also been featured in two Hallmark holiday movies. Not only that, but her Christian music pursuits are also beginning to take off . The brownstone sounds like the perfect backdrop for this next stage of Kathie Lee Gifford's life. Talking about the baby's name, Kathie revealed she was emotional when she was told that her grandson's name honored her late husband.
But after Frank's death in 2015, Kathie Lee found it hard to live in the home her family of four once shared, so she made a solo move to Nashville to give herself a fresh start. Six years after Frank's passing, she told People that her son Cody and his wife, Erika Brown, are making new memories in the family's Connecticut mansion. "My son and his wife live there now," the former "TODAY" co-host said.
